I offer a variety of services for business and other organisations. The benefits of massage at work are manifold. It helps reducing pain and improving flexibility. Additionally, it reduces stress, improves mind-body connection and is a very powerful tool for people to connect with each other.
Massage at the office
Do you want to pamper your employees a bit? Help them to feel more relaxed and pain-free? Get your employees a massage treatment! I provide Chair Massage services and Thai Yoga Massage (massage on the mat). Both massages are fully clothed and can be between 20 to 30 minutes per employee. I also collaborate with several skilled massage therapist, so if you are looking for more than one therapist, I can arrange that. I am always happy to show you my skills at a free trial. This service is available periodically or at (one-off) events.
Weekly massage class
Do you want to teach your employees the right skills to help each other relax? Organisations with a sport facility can opt for a weekly massage class. The weekly class is similar to a weekly yoga class, where participants subscribe voluntarily. During this class employees can unwind, relax, stretch and improve their general well-being. Participants will give and receive a full-body massage, following my instructions. The protocol will always be the same, so people will improve their massage skills and can start to meditate during the massage. The massage will be fully clothed.
Periodically/one-time massage workshop
Are you looking for a fun activity? To offer, for example, during the wellness/well-being week of your organisations? Than opt for a one-time or periodical workshop. Employees can voluntarily subscribe for this workshop. During this workshop, I teach people to massage each other. The main focus of the massage will be on the back, neck and shoulder, as this is where most office workers have pain. The goal is to relax, have fun, connect and learn skills that people can apply at home in the future. The massage will be fully clothed.
Team building event
Are you looking for an original way to improve the relationships in your team? Than opt for the tailor made team building event. During the event, employees will do different exercises to get to know each other better and to connect with each other. Massage exercises will be alternated by creative exercises such as creative writing and exercises borrowed from the field of theatre. Each team member will learn more about the background, personal qualities and preferences of their colleagues. Employees will learn how to relate to their colleagues in a fun and different way compared to their daily work setting. By improving personal connections, the team can improve overall functioning in the future. As the event is tailor-made, specific team goals and difficulties will be discussed with the team leader. Potential (cultural) sensitivities around massage will always be discussed prior to the event. There is an option to combine the workshop with a high quality Thai lunch in a nearby facility.
Massage program for burnout
Burnout is a growing problem in Dutch work environments. In the Netherlands, 19% of the employees and 11,7% of the freelancers have burnout related symptoms (source: RIVM). When people experience a full burn out, they usually sit at home and have a period in which they have to wait before help is available. Therefore me and my colleague at Solea (www.solea.life) help people in their early stages of a heavy burnout. In order to assist in recovery, we created a one to three months program, specifically designed in calming the nervous system. The program helps to slowly reactivate people in a way their bodies and brains can process. Additionally, we created a safe space in which a small group of people can find support from people in a similar situation, helping them to feel less lost and more connected. We use massage and mindfulness as tools in for people to relax again. For more in depth information on the program and the tools being used, feel free to contact me.
